Laying the Foundation – August and September Updates
It’s amazing to see how far we’ve come since we first started this journey. Back in mid-August, major behind-the-scenes work was underway. It might not have looked like much at the time, but beneath the surface, a lot was happening! We updated the plumbing—installing all-new systems to make sure everything is in top shape. We also upgraded our HVAC systems to make sure everyone is comfortable, from our hardworking staff to all of you, our valued customers.
By early September, electrical work and HVAC were nearing completion. With these essential systems in place, we were ready to tackle the next big steps.
Construction Milestones – Tyco Construction’s Exceptional Work
We’ve got to give a massive shout-out to Tyco Construction for their incredible work on this buildout. As of mid-September, all inspections had passed, and the new concrete had been poured for our walk-in cooler. Every single day, the worksite was spotless—an incredible testament to the dedication of these hardworking folks. Thanks to Tyco, we were ready for drywall and moving full speed ahead.
The drywall installation began shortly thereafter, and we started to see the transformation take shape. By late September, the drywall was up, and the FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastic) walls were also installed in the kitchen and cut room. It really started to look the part!
Final Touches – October Updates
As October rolled in, we focused on all those details that truly make the space feel special. With the drywall completed, we were ready for paint, adding those finishing touches to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Our package labeling for meats was also being designed, ensuring every product looks as good as it tastes!
We’re working on apparel items as well—aprons, shirts, hats, and more—to represent the KARV brand proudly. Whether it’s for our staff or perhaps for some of our most dedicated fans, these items are coming together, adding to the excitement of our opening.
We also finalized the signage—ensuring it will stand out and reflect the character of KARV Meats. It’s all part of making sure that we’re ready to serve our community with pride.

We’ll have a full deli selection, with delicious hot and cold sandwiches, burgers, and plenty of sides to enjoy. But we’re not just a place to pick up meat; we’re about creating a community, celebrating tradition, and bringing people together over great food.
