Exposing the Hidden Beauty
One of the most thrilling moments in our renovation journey was uncovering a stunning brick wall on the tavern side of the room. Hidden for decades, this beautiful feature will soon be home to a custom beer tap system, adding a touch of rustic charm to our modern space. The brick wall will serve as a focal point, a testament to the building’s rich history and our commitment to blending tradition with innovation.
Creating a Space for Everyone
Our vision for the space includes not one but two bar tops—one in the tavern and another on the deli side. This additional seating will provide a cozy spot for everyone to enjoy our offerings, from hot and cold deli sandwiches to burgers and desserts. We’ve also got plenty of swag in the works, including cool knives and cutting boards emblazoned with the KARV logo, perfect for any kitchen.
Building from the Ground Up
So far, we’ve completed the rough-in for plumbing and installed some metal framing for the office, bathrooms, kitchen, and cutting room. Our kitchen and bar equipment are on order and should arrive next month. We’re getting closer to bringing our vision to life with each passing day, and the anticipation is building.
